Step-by-Step Assembly

Make the Half-Square Triangles (HSTs):
Pair one Fabric A square with one square from B–H, right sides together. Mark a diagonal line, sew 1/4” from both sides of the line, cut, and press. Trim each block to 6-1/2”. -
Repeat with all pairings:
You’ll create sets of HSTs in combinations A/B, A/C, A/D, A/E, A/F, A/G, and A/H. -
Assemble the Quilt Top:

Lay out the HSTs into 12 rows of 10 blocks each, following the quilt diagram for orientation.
